FOR MEDIA: Chamber’s Annual State of Decatur City Schools Tuesday to address system vision, successes of area students

What: The Decatur–Morgan County Chamber of Commerce’s annual State of Decatur City Schools event highlights the partnership between the Chamber and the Decatur system – the largest in Morgan County. Superintendent Dr. Michael Douglas will address a wide range of topics impacting our area students, including updates on building projects, workforce development, test scores and data, and his vision for the school system of more than 8,700 students.
The address is presented by Indorama Ventures.
Who: Dr. Douglas, who became superintendent in July 2017, will be the featured speaker. He will be available following the event for one-on-one media engagement.
