Shop Local for the Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday on July 21-July 23

The 18th annual sales tax holiday will run Friday, July 21 at 12:01 a.m. through midnight on Sunday, July 23. Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies, computers or computer equipment, books, textbooks and clothing free of state and local sales taxes whether they have school-aged children or not. Also in July, the United Way of Morgan County is gearing up to Stuff the Bus by collecting school supplies like pencils, erasers, calculators and backpacks for local students. You can drop off supplies at the Chamber office or any of the participating companies listed on the flyer below.
