Diann Hammon Named Commodore of the Month

Kim Mitchell, Executive Director of the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, spoke at our monthly Commodore meeting on January 12. She highlighted the growth of the Carnegie Carnival since it began in 2012, now featuring a half marathon, parades and activities for all ages. This fundraiser supports the arts center and boosts our local economy.

Congratulations to Diann Hammon of Athens State University for being named the Greater Morgan County Builders Association Commodore of the Month for January.

This group of more than 40 professionals volunteer their time and expertise to welcome and mentor new members, build membership and raise community awareness of Chamber activities and benefits. The Commodore program is presented by Redstone Federal Credit Union.
