New Downtown Decatur Parking Deck Now Open

According to The Decatur Daily, the new downtown Decatur Municipal Parking Deck, located at 109 Moulton Street at the intersection of First Avenue Southeast, opened to the public on June 27. Constructed by Fite Building Company, Inc. at a cost of $9.88 million, the deck was developed as part of an incentive package for the adjacent Fairfield by Marriott hotel that opened in January.

Featuring 230 parking spots, including 90 reserved specifically for hotel patrons, the deck is designed to enhance convenience for both visitors and residents. It features electric vehicle charging stations and four retail/restaurant spaces are available for lease by Parker Real Estate, LLC.

Rates start at 50 cents for the first hour and increase by 50 cents per hour, up to $4 for eight hours. Only debit or credit cards are accepted. Spaces may be rented monthly for a charge of $56.
