Chamber Hosts Successful Hiring Event with Strong Turnout

On September 17, the Chamber, in partnership with the Morgan/Limestone County Department of Human Resources A-RESET Program, hosted a successful Hiring Event at Ingalls Harbor Pavilion. Approximately 515 job seekers connected with more than 50 local employers actively hiring for a variety of positions.

“I think this shows us that people do want to work and they always have,” said Amber Fortenberry, the Chamber's director of talent development and recruitment. “I think they just need the right opportunity to talk to the right company at the right time and hopefully that is today.”

This event provided attendees the opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers, explore job openings and access valuable community resources. The event marked a significant advancement in local employment and workforce development, driven by robust engagement from both employers and job seekers. Thank you to all who attended.
