Find Your Next Career Opportunity at the Decatur-Morgan County Hiring Event

The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with AIDT, Career Connect, and the Morgan County Economic Development Association (MCEDA), is excited to host a Hiring Event designed to connect job seekers with leading local employers.

The event will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fort Decatur Recreation Center, located at 610 4th Avenue SE in Decatur. With over 20 employers participating including Ascend Performance Materials, Decatur Utilities, Fite Building Company, GE Appliances, a Haier company and Wolverine Industries, this is an opportunity for job seekers to explore available positions, participate in on-site interviews and take the next step in their careers.

To help streamline the hiring process, the Career Connect hiring platform will be used to match job seekers with open positions. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register by clicking here. Those who do not pre-register can sign up upon arrival at the event. Digital resumes will be printed on-site, allowing job seekers to connect with employers directly and continue networking after the event through the platform.
