Hiring Event Connects Job Seekers with Employers

The Chamber, in partnership with AIDT, Career Connect, Calhoun Community College and the Morgan County Economic Development Association, hosted another successful hiring event at Ingalls Harbor Pavilion in Decatur on February 11.

With approximately 260 job seekers connecting with more than 20 local employers, the event offered a range of job opportunities and on-site interviews. Attendees were able to print digital resumes and engage with employers through Career Connect and were able to receive communications from employers after the event through the platform. Events like this reflect our shared efforts to support or address our workforce development needs and open doors to career opportunities in our community.
