February SuperStar Teacher: Celebrating Robert Bryson at Morgan County Schools Tech Park
In his nomination, Brewer High School Principal Lewis White highlighted Mr. Bryson’s impact on his students and colleagues, stating:
“Mr. Bryson has been teaching Auto-Tech at the Tech Park for more than 25 years. In that time, he has always been on the cutting edge of the classroom. He ensures his students are equipped with the latest tools and technology to go directly into the workforce. He continually updates the curriculum to make sure students are learning the latest in automobile repair and maintenance. His students have competed and won multiple times in manufacturer-sponsored competitions. He prioritizes his students' well-being and sets a strong example for them to model good behavior and a strong work ethic. Mr. Bryson has cultivated a culture of hard work and respect, inspiring many former students to return and share their experiences with current students. He also mentors less experienced instructors. With all of that, he continues to build strong relationships with his students, helping them feel at ease in this challenging course.”
