Chamber’s Excellence in Leadership Class to Host Pickleball Tournament in June

The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce’s Excellence in Leadership 2024-2025 class has selected a charity pickleball tournament, the Point Mallard Pickleball Classic, for their community service project this year. Be a part of history at the first-ever pickleball tournament on the brand-new courts at Point Mallard in Decatur. The tournament date will be announced as construction nears completion.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit three local charities: Meals on Wheels, Brothers For Life Benefit Fund and First Priority of Greater Decatur. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals who would like to support the event. Register a team by clicking here.

The Excellence in Leadership program is the Chamber’s premier leader development series. It began in 1987 to develop and build a network of leaders with the goal of creating community awareness and encourage community involvement. The class meets once a month for 10 months, with day-long sessions focusing on topics essential to our community.
