Grant Opportunities Available for Downtown Decatur Businesses

The Decatur Downtown Redevelopment Authority (DDRA) is offering several grant opportunities for downtown Decatur businesses through Main Street Alabama and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Five $1,000 Illuminate Marketing Grants will be awarded to selected eligible businesses. The deadline to apply is November 1.

In addition, DDRA will host a Bright Ideas Pitch Competition on January 13, 2025, where eligible downtown Decatur businesses can compete for a $10,000 prize. The winner will also have the chance to advance to regional and state levels, with the potential to win up to $35,000 in combined prizes. The deadline to apply is November 27.
