Chamber’s annual sponsorship campaign a success, surpasses goal
RELEASE 15-006
Spring break may have just ended, but that didn't keep the team of the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce Total Resource Campaign volunteers from surpassing their sponsorship marketing goal.
The Chamber's TRC – the annual venture where member volunteers help coordinate sponsorship opportunities for Chamber events and programs for the coming fiscal year – surpassed its goal during the initiative, which kicked off in mid-January.
"The lifeblood of this Chamber is our faithful team of volunteers, and this year's TRC volunteers brought a tremendous amount of energy and enthusiasm towards making this year's campaign a success" said Leissa Chittam, the Chamber's chief financial officer and TRC coordinator. "Each dollar raised is going back into building up our community, developing leaders, strengthening our workforce and improving the quality of life in Morgan County. This success will help continue and grow those opportunities."
This was the tenth year the Chamber has used the TRC model for sponsorship marketing, and this year sported the theme of "The Wild Wild TRC West."
