FOR MEDIA: Chamber’s Annual State of Morgan County Schools event Tuesday to address business community, highlight student success

What: The Decatur–Morgan County Chamber of Commerce’s annual State of Morgan County Schools event highlights the partnership between the Chamber and the system – featuring 7,800 students at 18 schools in Morgan County.
Who: Mr. Bill J. Hopkins – superintendent since in 2011 – will provide the keynote address. He is a product of the Morgan County School system, graduating from Falkville High School in 1985. Hopkins holds a bachelor's degree in general social science from Athens State University, a master's degree in general social science from Alabama A&M University, and a master's degree in educational administration from The University of North Alabama.
