For Media: Chamber’s State of Healthcare Forum Thursday will feature panel of medical professionals addressing public health issues, impact on workforce and business community

What: The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce annual State of Healthcare Forum will provide an opportunity for business and community leaders to hear directly from area healthcare professionals about the impact our hospital and medical community plays on our workforce and how they shape our quality of life. The event will also focus on availability and access to quality care in Decatur-Morgan County, as well as “big picture” plans for the future of healthcare in our community.
Decatur Morgan Hospital is the largest employer in Morgan County with more than 1,400 employees.
Who: A panel of healthcare professionals – including Decatur Morgan Hospital President Nat Richardson – will take part in a “fireside chat” during the event.
When: Thursday, Jan. 23, 7:30 a.m.; reservations for this event are closed.
Where: The Bluebird Room on the Decatur Morgan Hospital Main Campus, 1201 7th Street SE. Parking in the 7th Street parking deck will be free during the event. Hospital volunteers and signage will direct attendees to the Bluebird Room.
