The Chamber’s inaugural State of Healthcare address to focus on impact of Affordable Care Act on Morgan County, financial status of area hospitals
What: At the Decatur–Morgan County Chamber of Commerce's inaugural State of Healthcare address and breakfast, attendees are set to learn about the financial status of our local hospitals, how the Affordable Care Act legislation impacts the way healthcare is being delivered to residents of Morgan County, the developing relationship between Decatur Morgan Hospital and the Huntsville Hospital System and the changing economics of healthcare.
Who: Nat Richardson was named president of Decatur Morgan Hospital in June 2013. He has degrees in radiological sciences, business administration, with specializations in management & leadership, and his masters from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the boards of United Way-Morgan County, Palliative Care Partners-Morgan County, Surgery Center of Decatur and the Boston Scientific Advisory Board. Nat is a member of the Rotary Club of Decatur.
